“The More I Seek You”

  1. The more I seek You…
    1. Seek = (baqash) “search out spec. in worship or prayer; to strive after”   (darash) “to tread or frequent, usually to follow (for pursuit or search); by impl. to seek or ask; spec. to worship”  (shachar) “to dawn, that is, be up early at any task (w/ impl. of earnestness); to search for (painstaking)”
    2. Worship = (proskuneo) “to kiss like a dog licking his master’s hand; to fawn or crouch to, that is, prostrate oneself in homage; do reverence to; adore”  Jn. 4:24

                                                               i.      Conformed = (suschematizo) “to fashion alike; conform to the same pattern; union; with or together by assoc., that is, companionship; resemblance”

                                                            iii.      Renewing = (ankainosis) “renovation”

                                                           iv.      Heart = (lebab) “the heart as the most interior organ; courage; understanding; the centre of things; the feelings, will and intellect”  Ps. 119:2

                                                             v.      Soul = (nephesh) “a breathing creature; vitality; bodily or mental; desire; pleasure; your mind”

  1. The more I find You…

                                                               i.      Find = (matsa) “to come forth to, that is, to appear or exist; to attain, that is, find or acquire; meet or be present”

    1. God wants to be found!
    2. You will find Him where He is.
    3. He is in this world, but not of this world, His Kingdom is on earth, but not of the earth – 1 Jn.4:5; Jn 18:36;
  1. The more I love You…
    1. God is love - 1 Jn. 4:8,16
    2. We are one with Him, everything we are, our identity is Him
  2. His power and glory… Lovingkindness, satisfaction and rejoicing…
    1. 1 Chr. 16:10-11; Ps. 34:2-5

                                                               i.      Satisfied = (saba) “to sate, that is, fill to satisfaction; have enough; have plenty of”

                                                             ii.      Marrow = (cheleb) “be fat; the richest or choicest part”

                                                            iii.      Fatness = (deshen) “the fat; the fatness, that is, abundance; spec. the fatty ashes of sacrifices”

I want to sit at Your feet…Drink from the cup in Your hand

 Lay back against You and breath…Feel Your heart beat

This love is so deep…It’s more than I can stand 

 I melt in Your peace…It’s overwhelming
