Pastors

Senior Pastors:

Mark and Becky Johnson

Mark and Becky are the senior pastors of Jubilee Worship Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota - a church they started in March of 1998. Their vision for Jubilee is to enable as many people as possible to experience God, grow in God, be equipped to do the work of God and to reproduce similar ministries in other communties and nations. They have a heart for pastors, the body of Christ at large, and the Central Minnesota area. Mark and Becky believe God is moving powerfully today wherever people are hungry and open. God is uniting His body and equipping them to move in the power of the Holy Spirit. God is restoring prophetic and apostolic ministry to His church, so that the saints can be brought to maturity and be equipped for fruitful ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16).
Becky oversees worship and arts at Jubilee.

Mark and Becky both grew up in Christian homes and became Christians at a young age. Mark and Becky were married in 1977, and have been Senior Pastors since 1982. They have three adult children who are all serving the Lord and four grandchildren.

Associate & Children's Pastors:Bruce and Joy Tessen

Bruce and Joy Tessen are the Associate/Children’s Pastors at Jubilee Worship Center. Both are graduates of North Central Bible College in Minneapolis. Bruce graduated with a degree in Pastoral Studies and Joy with a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood. They began full time ministry in 1989 in Detroit, MI.

Their vision is for every child to have a first hand encounter with Jesus Christ and to equip them to do the work of the ministry. They are not interested in “babysitting” our children, but instead training them to impact their generation through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Bruce was born and raised in Wisconsin and was radically saved in 1980. God placed within Bruce a love for him, a passion for His presence, and an intense desire to emulate the love of Jesus to all- to be “Jesus with skin on.” Joy was born and raised in upper Michigan and has known and followed Jesus since childhood. She is a gifted teacher, full of love and compassion.

Bruce and Joy have three wonderful children on loan from God:
Joshua, Brittney, and Lindsey.

Missionaries

Dale and Cathleen Jones
CAMBODIA

Dale and Cathleen Jones, ministering elders of Jubilee Worship Center, have been sent to Cambodia to serve in apostolic ministry. They have been serving the Lord by ministering to Cambodian people since 1988. Since 2002 they have partnered with Mission to Unreached Peoples in Seattle, WA as a sending agency in mission to Cambodia. The focus of their ministry is foundational in nature, seeking to establish a church planting movement in Cambodia through prophetic ministry including intercession, evangelism, disciple-making and organizing believers into communities of God. Dale and Cathleen highly value reaching people by preaching the gospel, leading them to be committed students of Jesus, nurturing them to maturity and leading them to be effective witnesses for Christ. The primary strategy for accomplishing this is through gathering new believers into assemblies and teaching them to minister God's grace to one another through the gifts (charismata) of the Spirit, building each other up in faith, exhorting one another to rely on the Holy Spirit to produce fruit in their lives, and reproducing themselves by sharing their faith and founding new assemblies. The Jones' also highly value an "incarnational" approach to ministry, which following Jesus' example, means leaving home and adapting to a new country, culture and language, believing that who we are is as much a part of the gospel message as what we say.

Dale and Cathleen both grew up in and near Cokato, just 35 miles south of St. Cloud. They have three children, Joshua, Loralie and Tiara, as well as three Cambodian foster children. As of this writing (February 2008) Joshua is now living in Phnom Penh teaching at an International school.  Loralie is married and  teaches at an international kindergarten in Phnom Penh while her husband, Luke, teaches at an international school as well.  They have one daughter.  Tim and Micah are in the 5th grade, ages 12 and 11 respectively, Tia is in 2nd grade, age 7, and Savana is 4 years old and is in preschool.
