What else of eternal value does the church have to offer besides an encounter with Almighty God? We want people who come to JWC to experience God - His presence, His power, His love, and His salvation. Because of this, our focus is more on attracting the presence of God than appealing to the desires of people. This occurs primarily through praise and ministry times, as well as a spiritual atmosphere created by prayer and fasting, faith and obedience.
Grow in God
It is God's will that we grow spiritually. (Ephesians 4:15; 1Peter 2:2-3; 2Peter 3:18). Experiencing God should lead to spiritual growth. (2Corinthians 3:18; 1John 1:6; 2:4; 3:2,6). Spiritual growth at JWC occurs primarily through practical, prophetic preaching and teaching. (Acts 2:42; 1Peter 2:2; 2Corinthians 3:6), small groups [We call them "Impact Groups "] (Acts 2:42, 46; 5:42; 20:20), and a School of Discipleship. (Matthew 28:18-20). Be Equipped to do the Work of God
Growing in God should result in a heart to minister to others. The purpose of the fivefold ministry is to equip the saints for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12). Preparing believers for works of service at JWC happens through small groups (Impact Groups), School of Ministry, and "on-the-job training".
Reproduce Similar Ministries In Other Communities and Nations
As people are equipped and mobilized for ministry at JWC, some will be sent out to plant churches similar to JWC in other communities and nations (Matthew 28:18-20).
